Health, Wellness & Healing

Feeling stuck? Congratulations!

Do you have days when you feel stuck? You want to do something and feel that you can’t move forward? You feel caught in a loop of stuckness? Imprisoned? Annoyed? Depressed?  Lucky you! Feelings of stuckness are a blessing in disguise.

Yes, they are blessings in disguise. Feelings of stuckness are signs that you would love something else in your situation, in your life. They are a messenger from your inner world telling you to stop doing what you are doing right now.

So, feeling stuck right now?

Then stop! stop, stop!

Take a deep breathe in and blow out. Imagine that you breathe in pure loving energy and blow out all the stuckness-energy. So breathe in… and out, in… and out…

I can definitely relate to feelings of stuckness. I experienced it writing this blog. I started to write, stopped, started again, wasn’t happy about it, feeling pressured that I hadn’t written anything yet even though it was hours before the deadline. In short: I was spiralling downwards and stuck.

I stopped myself. Stop!

  1. I acknowledged to myself that I was stuck: this wasn’t what I wanted!
  2. I asked myself the question: What is it that I want? I want to feel great, in the flow and inspired to write the blog I plan to write.
  3. What can I do to help myself to be free and in the flow again?

During the day I would have gone out, taken a walk, gotten some movement, fresh air and I would have looked as far as I could (always a great tool to free yourself from being stuck).   Or if I had been at work with other people, I would have gone to the toilet, play my favourite music and dance for a minute.

At this late hour, I decided to take a shower to help me relax, to be open, to shift my energy and to regain new inspiration. The shower was wonderful. It refreshed and relaxed me. I felt how new perspectives opened, new ideas came in.

I know this very old feeling. I started this habit when I was in school, writing papers on different kinds of subjects. I always waited until the very last moment to write them. I remember that in my mind I created all kinds of excuses for my habit: It is the only way to create a perfect paper, it has to be perfect and structured in my mind first before I can give ‘birth’ to this paper, it’s my moms fault (she used to bring me coffee and hot chocolate in the middle of the night when I was in the flow-process)… And now, just like when I was a teenager, I am in the same pattern as years and years ago… Realising that this is not what I want for myself. Congratulations! Time to get clarity on what I want!

Wow, what I am going through right now is a healing process: This old program is running in the back of my mind. It’s also affecting other areas of my life. I am totally ready to change it for a new and helpful program. A program that is lifting me up and affecting other areas in my life positively. So… Being still, listening to my inner dialogue, writing down old patterns that no longer serve me and release them (by using the freedom release method), deleting everything from my system, like deleting a computer program that is not functioning properly. Filling up the empty space with helpful, happy programs, programs that help me rise and shine.

Recognising that I made a big deal of writing this blog, I made it too big. I just acknowledged that I am the one who is in control. I can make the subject as small as I want. So let’s tweak it so it helps and supports me.

Perspectives and ideas like…

Yes, I want the reader to enjoy what I wrote, to feel inspired. By recognizing that by wanting this so so so much, I created all these high expectations of myself. And for what reason? Let’s enjoy the process even if it will only inspire one person… So, just tweaking my thoughts.

Perspectives and ideas like…

Making a mindmap with all kinds of ideas and solutions for this blog, so I can surrender to the divinely guided flow of solutions. It gives me so much happiness, just the idea that I can use this, makes me feel happy.

Perspectives and ideas like…

Sprinkling some sparkling magical dust on the situation and let it change into this joyful energy. Yes, I love sparkling magical dust. It is so fun. In my mind’s eye, I just sprinkle it on everything. It helps me tremendously to make the whole process so much lighter, so much more fun and so much easier.

Perspectives and ideas like…

Reaching out for help. That is one that I have to be consciously aware of because I was used to doing things by myself. Reaching out for help, sharing what is going on and by doing that helping yourself to take back your own power is just awesome. I love that there are so many awesome people within BestLife who all love to help each other.

Perspectives and ideas like…

O yes… I am in the solution-flow and I love it… So many more ideas are coming and coming and they are so welcome.

So yes, I am in a state of flow, enjoying this healing process. And yes, healing doesn’t have to be only for people who experienced impactful challenging moment(s) or situation(s). Just check daily, what is going on in your life and what you can do right now to deal with it. It will lift you up and let you enjoy life even more.

And me: I am even more happy now that I finish my blog hours before the deadline. That is a huge win for me and I am so excited about that.

So, just check in your own day to day life… is there something going on that needs healing? A little daily healing will impact your life immensely in the long run. What is it you can do today, to heal yourself?

P.S. when I was in the shower I did a leveraging-exercise. You can do this as well. Watch the video and play full on when watching.
